Books Build Brighter Futures

Our Beginnings

Established by Troy Mayne, an Australian author and photographer who served with INTERFET in 1999, this initiative seeks to translate the Wally’s Reef Gang books into Tetun, starting with Sorry Wally. We are working to provide free digital and physical copies to local schools and students as we coordinate the necessary translation work, community reviews, and logistical arrangements.
